Oxford Orthopaedics

A private practice led by Dr James Wee, Oxford Orthopaedics’ name was coined after the Oxford University Hospitals in the UK, where he completed his Fellowship, as well as his interest in the Oxford Partial Knee Replacement.

During his fellowship, he was awarded a scholarship where he obtained expertise in complex revision total hip replacement and total knee replacement surgery. He also received extensive training in partial knee replacement with the acclaimed inventor-surgeons of the Oxford Partial Knee System. Dr Wee is passionate about promoting the benefits of the Oxford Partial Knee System. With smaller incisions, this unicompartmental knee replacement provides faster and better recovery for patients and feels more natural than a total knee replacement.

His speciality lies in minimally-invasive hip & knee reconstruction and the use of robotic surgery (MAKOplasty, ROSA Knee System) for better surgical outcomes for his patients. Having completed his Fellowship in Foot & Ankle Surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London, Dr Wee’s special interests in Foot & Ankle Surgery include complex trauma, sports injuries, degenerative conditions, and neurological problems.
