Dr. Lam Hee Hong
Consultant Ophthalmologist
Dr. Lam completed Master of Surgery (Ophthalmology) with distinction in University of Malaya in 2008.
In 2011, he was appointed as the Head of Ophthalmology Department at Hospital Pakar Sultanah
Fatimah, Muar, Johor. Moreover, he is highly proficient and had successfully performed thousands of
cataract and refractive surgeries in government hospitals and private practices. Other than that, Dr. Lam
makes a huge contribution to the Ophthalmology field through his scientific publications and articles.
Furthermore, he has participated in several international forum platforms organized in Paris, Beijing,
and Sydney based on his case studies. Lastly, his willingness to take extra miles by participating with
community service (eye screening programs and eye health talk) and non-governmental organization
activities (eye camp MERCY) since 2006 highlighted his compassionate attitude in delivering the best eye
health care to the people.
Dr. Lam is currently based in Optimax Eye Specialist Centre in Seremban, visits Johor Bahru and Kluang.
