As a child, he was taught that saving lives is great. “After I became a doctor, I realised that it's not just about saving lives, but also understanding the meaning of life to make me a better person,” he says. Dr. Quek has 12 years of Obstetrics & Gynecology experience. “I chose to specialise in this field because I want to safeguard women’s health and bring new lives into this wonderful world.”
He is the Founder as well as the President of Malaysia Gynaecological Cosmetic Society (MAGICS). He also had lot of experiences in minimal invasive surgery. He won Best Service Award in Ministry of Health, Malaysia 2010, AOFOG Young Gynaecologist Award 2017, TOPGUN Award in Minimal Access Surgery, India 2017, Honorary Fellowship of IAOG, India. Finally, Fellowship of Academy of Medicine, Malaysia 2018. He has multiple international publications and presentations and hosted TV health programmes in Malaysia and Singapore. He is senior lecturer for Monash Medical University Malaysia as well.
