Dato Dr. Selvalingam Sothilingam
Dato’ Dr Selvalingam Sothilingam is a consultant urologist at Sunway Medical Centre Velocity. He’s an expert in urological cancers, infections, and trauma as well as in hematuria, incontinence, urethral stricture disease, urinary stone disease, erectile dysfunction, male infertility, and prostate disease such as BPH.
He usually performs multiple procedures, including urological cancer and urinary stone surgeries, prostate biopsy, urology reconstructive and trauma surgery, laparoscopic and vascular access surgery.
He has received training in general surgery, urology, low dose brachytherapy for prostate cancer as well as in urological ultrasound, reconstructive urology, robotic surgery, and urodynamics.
He graduated from the University Malaya and he’s a member of the Malaysian Medical Association and the American Urology Association. He was the president of the Malaysian Urological Association and a council member of the Urology Association of Asia.
